Luuk and Hali investigate how individuality and collectivity play a role in bearing certain worldly burdens. How can we help each other more while also growing personally? How does it actually work, really living together? It starts with a solid foundation, you might think. Let it just be under construction for now, in A small gesture.

A small gesture
VegeLijf | NL
We have reduced our world to one and a half metres, or conversely we have claimed those one and a half metres as our own space. Two arm lengths apart, prescribed by the doctor. In A small gesture by Vege Lijf, we see collaboration and togetherness on the square metre. A pile of tiles forms the shaky ground, through which Luuk Weer and Hali Neto dig their way. A visual performance about shakiness, solidarity and bearing the burden on the square metre.
