In De Leken  - a theatrical worship service in which psychologists, scientists, artists, musicians, activists, idealists and monastics meet - Oscar Kocken collaborates with writer Daan Windhorst on the theme 'Groeipijn'. It promises an evening full of panoramas, sermons, stories, music, interviews and personal confessions, with contributions from, among others, musicians Iris Penning & Mirthe de Jonge, spokenword artist Schiavone Simson, coach and storyteller Emma Voerman, psychoanalyst Willem Heuves and abbot Denis Hendrickx of Berne Abbey. So go with De Leken to communion, hum along with the congregational singing, take a sip of the mass wine and come out purified. Amen.
