Motus Mori: Museum

Against the background of a world in which human behaviour is accurately measured and increasingly controlled with the help of data, Katja Heitmann feels the need to 'capture' people in a different way in her work. Namely, based on our daily movement. But how to keep it, to archive it? Katja Heitmann writes an alternative history. She finds how someone moves characteristic of the periods in which we live. In Motus Mori: Museum, Katja exhibits human movements. Dancers have archived and categorized more than 700 movements and exhibit them during the festival. The exhibition of choreographic portraits shows an impressive and stirring image of being human in 2021.
