“Een, twee, in de maat, anders wordt de juffrouw kwaad, maar de juffrouw wordt niet kwaad, want zij is van prikkeldraad (oooh).” The mischievous version of this old Dutch nursery rhyme is now as cheeky as an ant is tall. We need air to live - and humour brings that air. This burlesque nineteenth-century farce, brought up to speed by top actors gives us a healthy dose of oxygen, with a performance about a school that is closed, because the students are underperforming. An exam is their last chance. The only thing you don't learn here is to keep pace.

Location Zuiderpark/Tent West
Running time 35 min.

Eins Zwei Schweinerei is a comedy based on Die Schlimmen Buben by Johann Nestroy. This once world-famous comedy writer with more than 80 plays to his name, is still frequently performed in German-speaking areas. His last performance in the Netherlands dates back to 1962 - time for a school fix.

'Three quarters of an hour high tempo slapstick.'

- Theaterkrant.

'...a frenzied theater party, a fast-paced educational satire full of scheming, fumbling and twisting.'

- NRC.
