White Noise
Tamar Blom/ Janne Piksen | NL
We don't see the data and impulses that come flying at us daily through the ether and the air, but we let these impulses in. What would it look like if it became tangible? In the installation White Noise by theatre-maker Tamar Blom and composer Janne Piksen, these impulses become concrete: You enter a white tunnel. You surrender to the wind and move forward. A storm is rising. The noise takes over. You become one with the chaos in this sensory and overwhelming experience, which invites you to explore your place in endless chaos. Do you feel safe? Can you find peace? Are you still there?
NOTE: White Noise is an individual experience, so there is one ticket available per performance. If you do want to buy multiple tickets, please book tickets for multiple contiguous timeslots.
For Tamar and Janne, White Noise is a composition and choreography at the same time, with the visitor as a player. In the first work of these two makers together, the viewer plays not a passive but active part. Tamar Blom was often seen at Theaterfestival Boulevard as part of the Wild Vlees collective. With White Noise, he presents new work in which the experience of space is central.
