Sounds Like Juggling
Arthur Wagenaar & Guido van Hout | NL
Some things you have to see to believe, such as a music theatre concert in which instruments are played by juggling. That is precisely what composer Arthus Wagenaar and juggler Guido van Hout do. In Sounds Like Juggling they play on instruments they built themselves: rattling balloons, buzzing sticks, flying speakers. One thing is for sure, juggling has never sounded so musical.
November Music
This performance is part of November Music on Tour. A series of adventurous concerts in the Fall of 2021, in collaboration with festivals and venues, among which Theaterfestival Boulevard. This annual 10-day festival takes places from 5 to 14 November and offers more than 90 different concerts. Check their complete program at www.novembermusic.net.
‘In this unique crossover, the music jugglers must keep various balls in the air in both senses of the word.’
