Ever since Youri Lentjes was young he was engaged in music. With artists like Bob Dylan and Tom Waits as an inspiration he writes his own music, songs he records in his bedroom. When he's 16 years old he decides to focus completely on his music and quit school. He spends his days writing new work and performs regularly in Paddy's Rotterdam. Through there he forms a grunge band named 44 Venom, with old members of the reputable doom band Heavy Lord. They record an EP in Belgium and perform at many stages in The Netherlands. In 2014 his career really takes off when he competes in the television show 'The Best Singer Songwriter in The Netherlands'. Since then, he has published an EP and a live record and he plays many shows, solo as well as with the violist Thailo van Ree from Utrecht but also with a band in The Netherlands, Germany, England and Scotland. He also plays bassguitar in the band Muddy Grande and sometimes you'll find him as a guest musician for Assorted Travellers. Youri is currently in the studio working on a new EP and an album.
