On Thursday 1 August at 15:00, the 40th edition of Boulevard will be festively opened from the Torenpodium in the heart of the festival at the Parade.
On Thursday 1 August at 15:00, the 40th edition of Boulevard will be festively opened from the Torenpodium in the heart of the festival at the Parade. Alderman Mike van der Geld and Directors Dana Kibbelaar and Tessa Smeulers will start with a short welcome speech, after which we will all toast to the festival. Afterwards, we will watch the free performance Ripple by TeaTime Company together.

Circus, dance, and architecture merge in the performance Ripple. In the centre: a big metal spiral 2,5 meters high and 5 meter long.
In Ripple three performers face constant challenges. They are forced to anticipate and react to the movement of the metal spiral. At any moment the entire situation can change because of an unexpected move from either spiral and performer…
