Komodo gained fame with the release of their debut album in 2019. Immediately after, they played at several prestigious festivals like Noorderslag and Grasnapolsky. In March 2022, Komodo released their second album named Barbarians. Singles Lost Kids and Easy Prey both became hits on NPO Radio 2, Radio Veronica and 3FM. Easy Prey was even selected as Radio 2 TopSong.
