George Kush creatively combines hip-hop and theatre. In his lyrics, he turns the magnifying glass on himself, exposing big themes like love, relationships and ambition in a raw and honest way. VAST is George Kush's first project as a solo artist.
George Kush is the pseudonym of Joris Branderhorst who once started performing as the frontman of The George Kush Collective. When this group broke up in 2020, he decided to go solo. With his first solo project VAST, George Kush draws attention to mental health and psychological issues, creatively taking a closer look at familiar thought patterns and pitfalls. How do expectations, choices, doubts and fears affect us as human beings and our mental state?
On stage, George Kush will be assisted by a band.
