Desire by Louis Janssens is inspired by the blue hour, the transition from dark to light at the end of the night, at the end of the party, when the day dawns. What thoughts and doubts are wandering during this hour? Desire is a stilled performance about the desire for intimacy, touch and love.

In Desire, Louis Janssens shares the stage with three other actors. The four persons take us into their personal thoughts, doubts, fears and desires which they normally do not dare to share with each other. They share these thoughts anyway and discover that they do not differ that much from each other. His biographical experiences and snapshots about universal forms of love are connected with the energy of friendship via talking, stammering, singing, and moving. Desire makes longing for love, touch and intimacy tangible and takes the audience into an intimate world of thought.
Louis Janssens' production Analogue has been selected as 'Official Jury Selection' for the Dutch Theatre Festival, in which the best performances of the past theater season will be shown once more.
Desire by Louis Janssens will premiere on Thursday 3 August at 20:30.
