La Goddam Voie Lactée
MAYDAY/Mélanie Demers | CA
In the beginning there was a big bang. And dance too? Yes, the Canadian choreographer Mélanie Demers proves. In La Goddam Voie Lactée – or The Goddamn Milky Way – five women create universes and make them disappear again with the help of dance, spoken word, theatre and music. But the desire to form a group remains.
A work that is at turns dramatic, humorous, grotesque, and poetic, forming a fragmented but solid artistic whole that exhibits total commitment.
