House rules
Our Six Rules
At a festival, you want to feel safe and comfortable. You can, as long as everyone follows these rules.
1. At our festival, we do not tolerate any expressions of racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, body shaming, ableism, or any other forms of unequal treatment. It's as simple as that.
2. "What you see" is often "what you guess." So dare to look beyond your assumptions or prejudices. Not sure how to address someone? Just ask.
3. Respect others' boundaries. Difficult? Not at all. Body language is universal: no means no.
4. So many people, so many backgrounds and experiences. Accept the differences. Listening to others is a good start. Really.
5. Take responsibility for your actions and behavior. Be aware of your intentions and language.
6. A festival is a small society. Participating for a few hours or days? Great. Take care of each other, your surroundings, and the environment.
Let us know if someone bothers you, discriminates against you, or causes you any discomfort. Speak to one of our staff members.
