Ticket sales for the 40th edition of Boulevard have started

For four decades, 's-Hertogenbosch has been turning into a lively stage for inspiring performances and meetings for eleven days in August. Ticket sales for the first fourteen performances of the anniversary edition of Theaterfestival Boulevard started today for Friends (on Tuesday, May 28 at noon for everyone).

Celebrate
Since 1985, Theaterfestival Boulevard has given stage to several thousand performers from Holland and abroad. They played at a total of 247 different locations in and around 's-Hertogenbosch. This year, Boulevard once again offers a summer festival experience. “We look for the celebrating person and celebrate the searching person,” said directors Tessa Smeulers and Dana Kibbelaar in Boulevard Magazine.

The first fourteen
The Boulevard programmers have once again booked a wonderful range of performances and concerts. Old acquaintances come with new work and new artists will surprise us. Think of Igor x Moreno from Italy with their exciting new performance, of Dries Verhoeven, Katja Heitmann or De Dansers who are on stage together with Club Gewalt. New Boulevard performer Manu van Kersbergen, together with .multibeat, moves heaven and earth in search of a new language to describe the changing world. The Lebanese choreographer and dancer Omar Rajeh performs an impressive solo. You can also go on an expedition with Het Houten Huis and Theater Stap, to the new performance by BERLIN/Fien Leysen, dance to the beats of Steffen Morrison and be inspired by an ode to female voices in the dance performance by Jan Martens from Belgium. Laika is also back! Together with Theater Froefroe they present Tortot, including a meal. Don't miss the family musical Een leuk avondje uit (8+) from Theater Artemis/Het Zuidelijk Toneel/hetpaleis. And discover what Grote Mensen (4+) do all day at the Compagnie Barbarie performance. Whoever has a birthday treats! Especially for the fortieth edition, De Stijle, Want… comes to the festival heart on the Parade one last time.
