Boulevard remembers

Boulevard remembers and celebrates the abolition of slavery in Suriname and the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom 150 years ago. 

The slavery past is a painful, important and, until recently, underexposed part of our shared history. 

Boulevard stands still on Saturday 1 July 2023, the National Commemoration of the Dutch Slavery Past.

During the festival in 2023, our programme will show more perspectives on this shared history. Look here for the full programme.
