Brain exercise 

Earlier, we announced the first thirteen performances and from now on you can find the complete programme on our website. From Thursday 26 June 12:00 pm it is possible to buy tickets for all performances. That means that from you one you can make a fitting schedule. This year, we want to help the audience to navigate through over hundred performances by introducing eight filters: Celebrate, We and the world, Artists from Brabant, Unusual locations, With the kids, Into the night, New Talent, and For every budget. You will find these filters in Boulevard Magazine 2 and on our website. Also new this year is the time table on the website, making it easier to plan your ideal festival. 

Programme selection 

Shakuar brings singers Shishani and Karima el Fillali together on the first day of the festival. Both artists have a deep sense of intimacy, who create enchanting and transformative music. 

BERLIN returns to Boulevard with Zvizdal. In 2016, the acclaimed Zvizdal by BERLIN could already be seen during the festival. Zvizdal paints a portrait of the Ukrainian Petro and Nadia, the couple who, after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986, were the only ones in their village who refused to be evacuated. 

“We do not know exactly what we have been looking at, we mainly feel it. De Dansers have done it again”, according to Theaterkrant. Their performance Hush had its opening night during Oerol in the beginning of June and will be performed in Den Bosch in august. 

Composer/singer-songerwriter Helge Slikker and Theatre-maker Madeleine Matzer celebrate 12.h years of collaboration with When I’m with you. A sparkling theatre concert by the Bossche company MATZER Theaterproducties. 

De Veenfabriek performs MARIA MARIA MARIA, a story about Mother Mary’s life and of her children. Inspired by the stories from the Bible and the Koran, personal stories of the musicians and songs about bizarre medieval wonders. 

During Boulevard, Yentl en de Boer will perform their festival version of Modderkruipers. According to jury of het Nederlands Theater Festival one of the most eye-catching cabaret performances at the moment. 

Dance the night away at the Boulevard Theater every night during, amongst others, Power to the Pipo, Elmer, Katie Koss, Mooon. During the day it is possible to visit the BLVRD theater with your kids as we offer a diverse youth programme. 

The Parkpodium offers you a programme of free performances. From juggling to acrobatics to diabolo and dance. 

Throughout the city 

The heart of the festival is at Zuiderpark. Besides this, there is the BLVRD Theater at the Parade. However, there will also be performances at unusual location such as Engelermeer, the garden of Sint Jan catherdral, the Militaire Rijbaan, Maaspoort Den Bosch and our home-base Pand 18.
