De Aanhaak Fanfare (The Hook Up Fanfare)
During Boulevard, De Aanhaak Fanfare and Bart van Dongen will practice every day - for 10 days - in order to play the ultimate composition 'Bossche Klanken' on the 11th day. Do you sing, rap, play an instrument or use the laptop, are you deaf or blind; join! Be welcome, regardless of your experience, age, background or qualities.
Van Dongen ensures that everyone has a proper role and feels at home in De Aanhaak Fanfare. We make progress every day. Together with the audience we work towards to the final concert.
The composition 'Bossche Klanken' is made by the ‘city composer’ of ’s-Hertogenbosch Bart van Dongen together with residents of the city. Anyone can submit ideas for the composition. The piece of music can consist of a melody, a sound poem, a drawing, a series of chords, an 'instructions for use', a sound recording. It doesn't matter how you deliver it.
At the festival, the work in progress becomes visible; small changes or additions happen and slowly but surely we grow towards a joint final result.
